Postnatal rEvolution Summit

Redefining Fundamental Needs to Build a Flourishing Society

The program for this Summit consisted of a series of Expert Talks, an online and in-person Dialogue Forum and a Live Event, all aimed to create collective postpartum action that affirm our collective commitment to the health of mothers and their families.

During this Summit, we asked participants to engage in a dialogue on:

  • What lessons can we learn from history?
  • What is the realistic situation in postpartum health in Europe?
  • What are the needs of today’s parents on physical, practical, emotional and social level?
  • What are the differences and similarities between current care versus desired postpartum care?
  • What can we do to invest in a healthier society?

These dialogues resulted in a collectively created Call to Action that includes recommendations on the practical, physiological and psychological support for all mothers.
