Charlotte Brielle
Charlotte Brielle

Charlotte Brielle, MSW, is the founder and Executive Director of Wombs of the World (WotW), an initiative dedicated to integrating modern birthwork practices with the preservation and celebration of traditional birth cultures. Through WotW, she works to foster collaboration among birthworkers, empower communities, and advocate for equitable maternal care. Charlotte’s work reflects her deep belief that transforming how we support birth is vital for the health and well-being of families and societies around the world.

“Culture is dynamic, but birth is universal—a sacred and transformative experience that unites humanity across time and borders. Birthwork is revolutionary social justice in action, and I am privileged to witness this story unfold on a global scale. When birthworkers come together from around the world to learn and share, we honor ancient wisdom while planting seeds of change. These seeds inevitably bloom, transforming communities one positive, safe, and empowering birth at a time.”
